On Tuesday, October 15th 2019, students from classes 8-12, from both the German and French schools, went to Scena Vidra theatre to watch a stage adaptation of Charles Dickens’ novel A Christmas Carol. Performed by the American Drama Group Europe, the story follows a man named Ebenezer Scrooge who dislikes Christmas and does not understand the point of giving back to the community. On Christmas Eve, he is visited by the spirits of Christmas Past, Present and Yet to Come. After their visits, Scrooge is transformed into a kinder man, who gladly helps others. The play was interesting and enjoyable, but most importantly the moral of the story was a valuable one.
